35 Weeks!!!

WOW!! And THIS is why I am not a blogger haha!! I for sure need to get better at this! Especially when the little one gets here and I need to share all her cuteness!!
I can not believe that I am now 35 going on 36 weeks!!! The end is near! Yet SOOOO far :/ I am for sure ready to meet this little angel and not to mention get feeling like a normal human again haha!!
So much has happened in the last 15 weeks! Here's a little catch up...
24-25 weeks Dusty and I enjoyed a Babymoon in St. Lucia! It was absolutely amazing!! It was so nice to lay in the Caribbean sun on the white sandy beaches!
When we got back from our trip we started on the nursery and Isabella's bathroom!! Thanks to my mom and Dusty for all their help painting!! We are done with everything except still waiting on our glider and ottoman to get here!
We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary together June 4th and had a blast together! I can't believe it has been 2 years!! Time flies when you are having fun!! We also got to start our 6 week birthing class that night! We just finished this week and I highly recommend it for everyone!! We had so much fun attending these together and learned so much!! It was also great for Dusty to be able to get in on the action a little more!!
Then through out the month of June I had 4 baby showers!! I am so grateful to all of my family and friends who hosted, and attended them to support us and our little one!! We were overwhelmed with all the sweet gifts and I will have such fun memories of these showers forever:)
July so far has been just as busy for us!! Brady (Dusty's Brother for those of you who may not know) was able to come home from the Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland for 2 1/2 weeks for a little summer break, before he had to start his football training! When Bray is home its like vacation time for everyone! We all just try to spend as much time as we can together and do anything and everything that is fun while he is here!! We just sent him back off on Wednesday and will get to see him in Colorado in October for the Navy Air force football game!
I may have gotten a little ahead of myself thinking I could keep up with everyone 34 weeks preggo and in this heat. Last Friday we ended up in the Labor and Delivery ( the on call Dr. made me!) I am not one to go in unless I am told that there is no choice :/ I had been having migraines on and off for about a week and then last Friday was not even able to get out of bed.
Dr. Rappleye called me in some Loratab and said if that didn't help that I needed to go to the ER. Well that was at about 10 AM and by 5:30 PM and 2 Loratab later I was still feeling the same. I called in and they said that I needed to get in ASAP in case of preeclampsia. So we rushed to pack up some things in case I had to be induced and rushed to the hospital! Luckily my blood pressure was good so they just kept us there to moniter Isabella's heartbeat and do some blood work on me. After all the results they said I had probably just been over doing it and I needed to relax a little more and stay cool. They drugged me up with a Demoral shot and sent me on my way! Fewf we were starting to think they were going to kick our little Isabella out way to early!! The headaches have still been on and off but not quite as bad since I am trying to take it easy!
Other than that nothing to exciting yet!! But I am hoping we can make it to 37 weeks and then I would love for Isabella to come:))
I will post a few pics from all these fun things and here is my little Q&A part that I have not kept up on:/
Also I will get some full finished Nursery pics up as soon as our glider gets here!!

Week 20!!!!!! Halfway!!

I am so thrilled to be halfway!!! Seems like I have been pregnant forever and I CANNOT wait to meet our little girl!!! I am hoping that this last half will go by a little quicker than the first!!
We went in for or 20 week ultrasound and everything looked great! She is getting more squished in there and can't move nearly as much as the previous ultrasounds! They also told us that she is measuring about a week early. It would be so nice if she was a little early but I am for sure not going to get my hopes up!!
This week I got the whole nursery cleaned out and ready to go! It used to be the office but we just finished our basement so we moved the office down there! The nursery is now ready for paint!! So I will be getting to that in the next couple weeks!
For our 20 week celebration Dusty and I went and registered at Buy Buy Baby! We had a blast! It was so fun. We were there for about 4 hours and towards the end we were definitely burned out! We ended up registering for 191 items and what is scary about it is they are all pretty much necessary!! These little ones need a lot of gear!:)
After we were finished registering we went up to the City Creek Mall and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and Dusty took me shopping! I had to get some longer shirts and such. What is so nice about the style now is that I don't think that I will have to buy any maternity clothes!! So I just went shopping at the places I normally would but it for sure is a challenge to feel as excited about new clothes when I can tell where I have grown!! Can't wait to get back to my normal diet and exercise routine!
This week has also been great because I have started to feel actual kicks!! They are not very consistent but it seems that she likes to dance around most after dinner when I lay down and when I am in bed!! I love feeling her move so much! It is so comforting! I am so excited to feel more and more from her:)
This week my mom and I both had dreams about what she looked like and crazily enough we both had the same image from what it sounds!! She had big blue eyes and auburn hair and lots of it! I always pictured a little girl with blonde hair up until this dream! Cant wait to see what she really looks like!
20 down 20 to go!! I will post a belly pic in the next couple days!!

Total weight gain/loss: 11 pounds

Best moment this week: seeing baby girl at my 20 week ultrasound & hearing that all is healthy and good!
Miss Anything? not being pregnant haha... I cant wait to feel normal!
Movement: Actual kicks this week! I think that it feels like a big heartbeat right in my belly!
Food cravings: no cravings yet!! Still sticking to more bland foods.. not a fan of anything rich and regret it quickly if I eat it.

Weeks 17 & 18

Well here I am again trying to catch up on some posts!!
Time seems to go super fast when I think about the last time I posted but slow in every other aspect!!
Weeks 17 and 18 were a blast!! We have been continuing to shop for Isabella which has been so fun, I also have the whole nursery drawn up and ready to get started on!! I am trying to hold off for a few more weeks so I won't be finished with everything and just waiting around to go into labor:/

For week 18 we got to go to Mexico!! We had so much fun and it was so nice to get away and just be distracted for a little while!! It was a little different of a mexico vacation being pregnant. More relaxing and soaking up the sun! Just what I needed! Not to mention my bikinis were a little bit tighter!!  I also started feeling a little better around this time. Traded out the morning sickness for major heartburn, but I'll take the trade I guess!!

We also went in to Fetal Foto again this week right after getting back from our trip! I just wanted to make sure that all was good after all the traveling! She was doing great, being her active little self :) I can tell though that she is running out of room and thinking my belly will for sure POP soon! She is also still a girl!! haha comforting to hear that again:))

16 weeks!!

I have been such a slacker on blog posts!! I can't believe the last time that I took a picture with my chalkboard was at 12 weeks!! I need to get better at that! but I don't feel like I have changed much since then!! I will take one anyways!!
The last 2 weeks have been so exciting!! We found out that baby Heap a is GIRL!!! We found out on Friday February 24th!
The day before I had to go in for an emergency ultrasound because I had been having really bad pains in the lower right pelvic area. I called in and they wanted me to come in to check for cysts and that it wasn't my appendix. They were not able to find what it was and said that it might just be really bad round ligament pains and that some people can get them a lot worse than others do! Lucky me!! The good part was that I got an extra ultrasound! My mom came with me and it was so funny to see her moving around, waving and kicking! She is really feisty! When the ultrasound would touch my stomach she would hit at it with both hands!! We didn't know that she was a she yet, and the tech asked if I wanted to know! I had to say no because Dusty wasn't there! Man I am a good wife ;) It was soooo hard to wait and I was sure that because she saw so quickly that she was a HE! So I was thinking a boy for a whole day till me and Dusty went to Fetal Foto the next day!
We got to go to Fetal Foto at 11:30 2/24! I was thinking that I was going to have an anxiety attack in the waiting room! I just wanted to know!
We finally got called back and the tech just let us watch her move around for us before she tried to find the sex. When she said that she was going to start looking I think I stopped breathing and my heart was racing faster than ever!!
She said well I know what it is.....
seemed like eternity......
ITS A GIRL!!!
My heart stopped! I was so shocked and happy I could not even handle it!!! We are so thrilled to be having a precious baby girl!!!!
That day we could not tell anyone because we were having a Gender Reveal Party that night at the Porcupine Grill! To keep us busy and from telling anyone we went shopping all day for our sweet baby girl! We had sooo much fun!!
This last week has been a whirlwind! Shopping for her, planning the nursery, and just feeling so much more connected and ready to meet her! It is crazy how just knowing the sex can make everything feel so much more real :)
That night at our party we had such a blast with our families! We had everyone wear pink or blue to show what they thought the baby was! Then everyone bit into a cupcake to reveal either pink or blue! Everyone was so excited and were so thoughtful and had brought gifts for both a boy and girl so she was already so spoiled! We are so grateful for our amazing families and their support.
